Proclaiming the Good News

Remembering the gifts of members who have died, the community has installed a beautiful gazebo and lending library in the side yard. These are open to the public and are one way in which the community seeks to point to the wonderful gifts of God in Creation.

We have also sung the Good News at Hymn Sing events.  We hope to share musical gifts once again in the near future.

Teach Nurture and Baptise

Creative programming is offered regularly to encourage exploration and deepening of faith.  Independent studies and information about other discipleship programs offered within and beyond the congregation can be found here.

Baptism - viewed as an initial celebration of welcome into the Christian community - is one of seven sacraments celebrated in the Anglican Tradition.  Information about programming for these sacraments can be found here.

Responding to Human Need with Loving Service

Creative individuals have been sewing fidget blankets and knitting fidget muffs which are generously donated to individuals with development delays and forms of dementia. Every blanket and muff is unique. Nursing homes, the John McGivney Centre and more have all benefited from the hard work and creativity of these folks. The community also has provided support for the local food bank, including acting as a collection point for the local Miracle Day food drive in 2020 & 2021 and donated toys to the local Goodfellows to be distributed at Christmas. Generous donations to our Thank You Bank at the end of worship have also supported a variety of ministries.

Transform Unjust Structures

The community at Trinity hosts an annual Remembrance Day service in the graveyard outside the church and has been active in encouraging prayers for those who serve in the military.

Safeguard Creation

There is ongoing exploration to find ways to reduce waste, single use plastics and paper. Memorial trees are being added to the grounds on a three year cycle.
